The Culver City Chamber of Commerce's Meet the Candidates for the 54th Assembly District Election at its Good Morning, Culver City, is set for November 20.
The event will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton, 5990 Green Valley Circle, in Culver City. The presentations will begin at 8 am.
Christopher Armenta, John Jake and Sebastian Ridley-Thomas are the three candidates in this primary election to fill the vacant 54th Assembly District seat.
The candidates will give their opening statement and then each will be asked a series of questions based upon issues facing the district, Culver City, and its businesses. The Chamber Board will vote an endorsement at the breakfast.
The special election is on Tuesday, December 3 to fill the unexpired term of newly elected State Senator Holly Mitchell. If no candidate receives over 50% plus one vote the two highest vote-getter will have a runoff election a few weeks after the primary.
The schedule: 730 am registration; 7:45 buffet breakfast; 8 program
