Vote by Mail Ballots Coming Soon

The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) has begun mailing more than 195,000 Sample Ballot Booklets to voters for the Dec. 3, 2013 Assembly District 54 Special Primary Election. In addition, about 80,000 Vote by Mail ballots will be mailed.

Sample Ballot Booklets can also be viewed online. Assembly District 54 includes parts or all of Baldwin Hills, Century City, Crenshaw, Culver City, Inglewood, Jefferson Park, Ladera Heights, Leimert Park, Los Angeles, Mar Vista, Mid City, View Park-Windsor Hills, West Los Angeles and Westwood.

The RR/CC reminds Los Angeles County residents that the last day to request a Vote by Mail ballot is Tuesday, Nov. 26. Requesting a Vote by Mail ballot is easy and can be done online or by using the back of the Sample Ballot Booklet. Registered voters can also apply in person at the RR/CC's main office: 12400 Imperial Hwy., 3rd floor, Room 3002, Norwalk, CA 90650.

L.A. County residents who applied for a Vote by Mail ballot can check the status of their ballot online.
