For October 8 through 14

Attempted Residential Burglary:

On October 8 at 10:25 am officers responded to the 11200 block of Braddock Drive regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; on October 7 at 11:10 pm he left his living room window slightly opened. When he returned the next morning he noticed the screen on the window had been bent and he believes a suspect entered his home.

Theft from Motor Vehicle:

On October 8 at 1:05 pm officers responded to the 5880 block of Washington Boulevard regarding a theft from motor vehicle investigation. The offices met with the victim who told them the following; the victim said she was going to get gas and when she went to pay for the gas an unknown suspect entered her Toyota Sienna and removed her purse and fled the location.

Stolen Car:

On October 10 at 9:28 am officers responded to the 11300 block of Washington Place regarding stolen vehicle investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he said he parked and locked his 2004 Acura at 1 am and when he returned at 8:45 am his car was missing.

Residential Burglary:

On October 10 at 1:23 pm officers responded to the 3400 block of Fay Avenue regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she left her residence locked and secured at 9:30 am. When she returned at 1:15 she entered her bedroom and noticed drawers were opened and her property missing. The victim noticed a screen had been ripped and the window was opened.

Vandalism:

On October 11 at 6:50 pm a victim called the police department to report her 2008 Nissan had been vandalized. The victim said he parked and locked his car in the 13400 block of Washington Boulevard at 4:30 pm. When he returned at 5:30 pm he noticed a 14” scratch on the driver side fender.
