For the past several months the staff at the Culver City Observer has been working on our new website which went live last Saturday. The site is user friendly and all our stories are organized by subject with drop headings for subtopics.
We will continue to provide Culver City residents with the finest local news, sports, arts, theatre and movie coverage.
In addition, longtime Los Angeles sports writer Mitch Chortkoff will provide updates and commentary on local teams along with the Lakers, Clippers, Angels, Dodgers, USC and UCLA, teams he has covered for more than 40 years.
Photos along with s slideshow at the top and bottom of the page make the site user friendly and attractive.
Our new calendar will allow organizations to post their own calendar items and once they are reviewed by an editor will become live on the site.
Our new Classified and Services Directory will become active this weekend. Residents will be able to post classifieds online at no cost. Unlike other classified lists and blogs our ads will be carefully reviewed and scrutinized for scams. While no one can offer complete protection, we believe it is our job to offer our readers the highest level of protection from internet thieves and fraud.
We hope you enjoy our new website and find it useful. Please send any comments or suggestions directly to me at: publisher@culvercityobserver.com.
