The United Parents of Culver City (UPCC), the parent-run organization dedicated to advocating for the interests of Culver City students, has endorsed Sue Robins for a seat on the Culver City Unified School District Board.
The organization had previously endorsed incumbent Kathy Paspalis and newcomer Steve Levin
“Kathy, Sue and Steve are the right choice for the future of our District,” says UPCC president Jeannine Wisnosky Stehlin. “They are three excellent candidates who represent the students first and foremost.”
School Board president and non-profit attorney Kathy Paspalis is on the immersion strategic planning committee and is a parent of CCHS twins; Sue Robins is an education specialist, former Farragut PTA president and former Culver City Middle School Science teacher and mom of a CCHS graduate; and Steve Levin is an award-winning astrophysicist, past Farragut booster club president and parent of three CCUSD students.
Founded just over a year ago in May 2012, United Parents of Culver City (UPCC) is a parent-run, grassroots, democratic organization dedicated solely to the interests of the students of Culver City. UPCC members are volunteer leaders from all five elementary schools, CCMS and CCHS.
