For August 13 through 19.

Theft:

On August 13 at 10:06 am a victim came to the police department to report she had her purse stolen. The victim said she was at work in the 11300 block of Washington Boulevard on August 12. She had left for lunch and returned at 2 pm and placed her property in her office. At 5:55 pm she discovered her property was missing.

Commercial Burglary:

On August 15 at 5:42 am officers responded to the 11100 block of Overland Avenue regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the reporting party who told them the following; he received a call from the alarm company regarding an activation. He then drove to the location a short time later and discovered unknown suspect(s) had shattered the window to gain entry into the location. Once inside the suspect(s) removed the property.

Vandalism:

On August 16 at 7 am officers responded to the 5200 block of Sepulveda Boulevard regarding a vandalism investigation. The officers met with the reporting party who told them the following; he said when he arrived at work in discovered the front window had been shattered. The r/p said he the business closed last night and when he returned at 6:50 am discovered the damage.

Car Burglary:

On August 16 at 11 am a victim came to the police department to report her 2002 Chevrolet SUV had been broken into. The victim said she parked and locked her vehicle near the intersection of Jefferson Boulevard and Leahy Street that morning at 9. When she returned at 11 am she discovered her rear passenger window had been shattered and her property missing.

Stolen Vehicle:

On August 17 at 11 am a victim came into the police department to report her 2013 Fiat had been stolen. The victim said she parked and locked her vehicle in the 3800 block of Huron Avenue on August 15.. When she returned on August 17 she discovered her vehicle missing.
