Here are some highlights from the City Council meeting of July 22, 2013. At this meeting, the City Council:
• Celebrated the 100th Anniversary of a Speech Delivered by Culver City Founder Harry Culver through a re-enactment of the speech by Council Member Clarke.
• Presented Certificates of Recognition to Former Members of the City’s Commissions, Committees, and Boards.
• Adopted a Resolution Confirming the Assessment and Ordering the Levy for the Sewer User’s Services Charge for Fiscal Year 2013/2014.
• Directed the City Manager to Proceed with a Proposed New Parking Meter Rate of $0.25 per hour, for 10-hour time-limited Parking Meters Citywide (additional City Council action will be needed to fully implement this new rate).
