Starbucks Closes in Culver Center
With the opening of the new Starbucks at Washington and Sepulveda Blvds., the popular Starbucks at Washington and Overland in the Culver Center has been shuttered.
Starbucks official announcement said that they did not renew their lease.
The location was the former site of the popular Ships Restaurant, a fixture in Culver City for generations.
When Ships closed a decade ago local longtime residents lamented the loss.
Starbucks is also located in the Washington Building in downtown Culver City.
