Vandalism
On March 13 at 9:30 a.m. officers responded to the 5100 block of Overland Ave. regarding a vandalism investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them he locked and secured his business on March 12 at 7:15 p.m. When he returned the next morning at 7:45 he discovered two large windows had been broken.
Stolen Vehicle
On March 15 at 3:30 p.m. officers responded to the 6000 block of Sepulveda Blvd. regarding a stolen vehicle investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them he parked and locked his 2001 Chevrolet at 2 p.m. and when he returned at 3:20 p.m. discovered his vehicle missing.
Battery
On March 17 at 2:45 p.m. a victim walked into the police department to report that she had been battered by a friend. The victim said she and a friend got into an argument and she was struck several times in the face. The suspect then fled the location.
Street Robbery
On March 17 at 8:40 p.m. officers responded to the 10900 block of Washington Blvd. regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them he was walking westbound on Matteson Avenue when he heard footsteps approaching him. As he turned around he saw three suspects approaching him and one of the suspects had a handgun. The three suspects then ordered him to give them all his property. Fearing for his safety he complied and the suspects fled the area. The suspects were described as two male Hispanics and one male Black all in their teens and wearing dark clothing.
Street Robbery
On March 18 at 5:44 a.m. officers responded to the 6300 block of Bristol Pkwy. regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them he was standing in the parking lot when he was approached by two suspects. Suspect 1 then demanded he remove his property from his pockets. Fearing for his safety he removed his property and gave it to Suspect 1. The suspects then fled the area. The suspects were described as a male Black, 6-0 to 6-2, 190-200 lbs, 30-35 years of age and wearing dark clothing. Suspect 2 was described as a female Hispanic, 5-3 to 5-5, 130- 145 lbs, brown hair, and wearing a brown jacket.
