For February 24 through March 4

Vandalism:

On February 26 at 9:50 am a victim came to the police department saying his apartment building had graffiti on the walls. The reporting party said the building is located in the 10400 block of Culver Boulevard. The reporting party said there was no graffiti on the wall on February 25 at 10 pm. When he returned the next morning at 7 am he discovered the vandalism.

Assault:

On February 28 at 110 pm a victim came to the police department to report he was assaulted. The victim said he walking in the area of Venice Boulevard and Prospect Ave. when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect was angry and struck the victim several times and fled the area.

Car Burglary:

On March 1 at 3:10 am officers responded to the area of 11700 block of Washington Boulevard regarding a car burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he was asleep when he heard a loud noise and looked out of his window and saw two suspects by his 2008 Ford van. He yelled at the suspects who fled the area. The victim checked his vehicle and discovered his property missing.

Residential Burglary:

On March 1 at 4 pm officers responded to the 12200 block of Herbert Way regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she and her caregiver left her residence locked and secured at 10:30 am. When they returned at 3:30 pm they discovered a bathroom window opened and her property missing.

Stolen Car:

On March 1 at 5:30 pm officers responded to the 11200 block of Orville Street regarding a stolen vehicle investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she said she parked and locked her 2005 Buick at 2 pm. When she looked out her window at 5 pm she discovered her car was missing.
