CC Youth Health Center Fundraiser Coming Up

There is still time to purchase reservations for The Friends of the Culver City Youth Health Center annual major fundraiser on Saturday, March 16 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Culver City.

Dylan Farris, Culver City High Principal, will be honored for his leadership and dedication in promoting the best possible education for the children of the Culver City Unified School District.

The Saint Patrick’s Day themed event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a silent auction and continues with music, a no host bar, dinner, and a live auction. The acclaimed Off the Wall Improv Group will provide laughs and entertainment during the evening.

Besides the silent and live auctions, there will be a unique online auction as part of the fundraising effort. Attire is dressy casual-no jeans and no ties.

All proceeds go to the Culver City Youth Health Center located on the campus of Culver City Middle and high school. The Health Center is operated by the Venice Family Clinic and provides free, quality health care for Culver City students.

Some of the services offered are physicals, immunizations, vision and hearing tests, care for ongoing illnesses and conditions, prescription medications, and mental health counseling provided by the Los Angeles Child Development Center.

All services are free with suggested donation amounts based on income and insurance status. For more information about the Health Center call 310-842-4328 or 310-667-0917.

The cost of the evening is $85 per person prior to March 8 and $95 at the door. A special rate is available for certificated and classified staff and their spouses.

Everyone attending the event will receive a complimentary gift card from Juan Juan Salon in Beverly Hills. The value can be up to $110 depending on the selected service. Contact Andy at 310-837-5012 with questions about the event.
