For February 12 through 18.

Commercial Burglary:

On February 12 at 2:02 pm officers responded to the 8500 block of National Boulevard regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she arrived at her storage locker on February 10 and discovered the door to the storage garage had been forced open and her property missing. The victim said she locked and secured the location on October 31, 2012 and everything was fine.

Stolen Vehicle:

On February 12 at 9:45 pm officers responded to the 3800 block of Overland Avenue regarding a stolen car investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she locked and secured her 1993 Toyota at 8 pm and when she returned at 9 pm her car was missing.

Vandalism:

On February 13 at 9 am a victim called the police department to report her 2005 Honda’s tires had been slashed. The victim said she parked and locked her car in the 4900 block of Overland Avenue on February 12 at 8 pm. When she returned the next morning discovered her tires had been slashed.

Vandalism:

On February 13 at 12:55 pm a victim called the police department to report her 1998 Cadillac had been vandalized. The victim said she parked and locked her car in the 14200 block of Summertime Lane and on February 6 but discovered her tires had been punctured.

Forgery:

On February 14 at 5:30 pm a victim came to the police department to report she was a victim of a forgery. The victim said she received notice from her bank that an unknown suspect had presented one of her checks which was successfully cashed in December. The bank had since red flagged her account. The victim beliefs someone had access to her checks while she was on vacation.
