Assemblywoman Holly Mitchell Sponsors Free Workshop
Assemblymember Holly J. Mitchell, 54th District will sponsor a free workshop bringing residents of the 54th District face-to-face with representative of their utility companies and service providers to obtain answers to billing questions, resolutions to problems, or assistance in using products or electronic devices.
The event on Saturday, February 23 will be from 10 am to noon at the Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw Mall Bridge (above King Blvd.), 3650 W. Martin Luther King Blvd., Los Angeles, Free parking
Many 54th District residents complain that contacting or obtaining useful information or assistance from their utility and service providers is increasingly difficult; lack of prompt response, unhelpful instructions or inadequate resolution to complaints.
Too often, billings are complex or unclear and complaints are not satisfactorily resolved. It may be difficult to get equipment to work properly or to obtain maximum use out of such devices as cell phones, TV remotes, computers, etc. Lack of personalized attention is a growing problem.
