For January 14 through 21

Car Burglary:

On January 14 at 3 pm a victim came to the police department to report her car had been burglarized. The victim said she parked and locked her 2011 Jeep in the 10700 block of Jefferson Boulevard at 1:30 pm. When she returned at 2:15 pm she discovered her property missing.

Residential Burglary:

On January 14 at 5:50 pm officers responded to the 6500 block of Green Valley Circle regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following. She left her residence locked and secured at 10 am and returned at 5:45 pm. When she returned she noticed her front door had been damaged she entered her residence and her property missing.

Vandalism:

On January 16 at 11:28 am a victim called the police department to report the business she manages had been vandalized. The reporting party said the business is located in the 11100 block of Washington Boulevard and around 11 am she discovered a mirror located inside the business had been vandalized. The mirror was fine at 9 pm on January 15.

Street Robbery:

On January 19 at 8:15 pm officers responded to an area hospital where they met the victim of a robbery. The victim said he was in the area of Culver Boulevard and Madison Avenue walking eastbound when he was approached by two suspects. Suspect 1 began to push him and physically hitting him. Suspect 2 then produced a knife and grabbed his property. The suspects then fled the area. The suspect(s) were described as male Blacks, 20-25 years of age and both wearing blue jeans.

Stolen Vehicle:

On January 203 at 11 am officers responded to the 10900 block of Braddock Drive regarding a stolen vehicle investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following. He parked and locked his 1995 Chevrolet on January 20 at 2:45 am and when he returned at 11:30 am he discovered his vehicle missing.
