SMC Information Director Retires

After 24 years on the job Bruce Smith has retired as Santa Monica College’s public information director. His last day was Dec. 21.

Smith co-ordinated press information for all aspects of the college, and since SMC didn’t have a sports information director he doubled in that position too.

The Observer and other local media outlets will miss his work.
