Dinosaur tracks lead right to the STAR Eco Station for another educational Dinofaire! On Saturday and Sunday, January 12 & 13, the STAR Eco Station will transform into a prehistoric wonderland for the kids of Los Angeles!
Dinoman, a dinosaur aficionado, will lead students on a jurney through the Mesozoic era using enormous inflatable props and real dinosaur memorabilia. Designed for dinosaur enthusiasts of all ages, Dinoman puts on a captivating presentation that explores the existence of dinosaurs and the fossils that help us learn so much about them.
Afterward, visitors will be taken on an adventure through the STAR Eco Station on a guided tour to meet prehistoric looking reptiles and say hello to some of the rescued wildlife that are distant cousins to the dinosaurs. Outside the STAR Eco Station students will be able to play games, ask questions to a real paleontologist, and participate in a "dino dig"
Dinofaire, centered on the theme of "extinction is forever", connects kids with the state of the environment and educates them on what they can do to preserve wildlife, protect the natural world, and promote animal welfare. Participants will learn practices they can apply in their own lives to prevent more species from becoming endangered and extinct.
STAR Eco Station is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit 18,000 sq-ft environmental science museum and exotic wildlife rescue center in Culver City that provides environmental education, field trips, gifted and talented instruction, classroom instruction, after-school enrichment, school assemblies, mobile museums, and community events.
