For July 24 through 30

Residential Burglary:

On July 25 at 7:50 pm officers responded to the 11000 block of Culver Boulevard regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she left her residence locked and secured at 8:30 am and her roommate returned at 6:30 pm and discovered the front door open and their property missing.

Stolen Vehicle:

On July 26 at 7 am officers responded to the 3900 block of Sawtelle Boulevard regarding a stolen car investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he said he parked and locked his 1995 Acura at 4 pm. When he returned the next morning at 6:30 am his car was missing.

Vandalism:

On July 27 at 1:59 pm a victim came to the police station to report that her 2012 Infiniti had been vandalized in the 8800 block of National Boulevard. The victim said she parked her car at 1:15 pm and when she returned at 2:15 pm noticed an unknown suspect had keyed her car.

Forgery:

On July 28 at 12:15 pm officers responded to the 9400 block of Culver Boulevard regarding a forgery investigation. The officers met with the reporting party who told them the following; she was approached by the suspect who presented a check to be cashed. The R/P recognized the check may have been altered and fraudulent. The R/P asked the suspect a few questions regarding the check and the suspect got nervous the fled the location.

Car Burglary:

On July 25 at 9:30 pm a victim called the police department to report his 2008 Cadillac was burglarized. The victim said he parked and locked his vehicle in the 6000 block of Sepulveda Boulevard at 7:30 pm. When he returned he discovered his property missing.
