Man Killed In Wheelchair:

A 70 man in a wheelchair was the victim of a fatal car accident on Tuesday July 3.the accident happened when a car going southbound on Sawtelle Blvd at LaBallona creek struck the man. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Car Burglary:

On June 26 at 6:24 pm, a victim called the police department to report her 2008 Lincoln had been burglarized. The victim sad she parked and locked her car in the 6000 block of Jefferson Boulevard at 5:30 pm and when she returned at 6:15 pm discovered her right front passenger window had been broken out and her property missing.

Commercial Robbery:

On June 27 at 11:05 am, officers responded A-1 Loan & Jewelry Pawn Shop in the 4300 block of Sepulveda Boulevard regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; the suspects entered the location and asked to see an item that was hanging on the wall. The victim handled over the item to one of the suspects when suspect #2 produced a handgun. The suspects then removed items and fled the location.

The suspect(s) were described as 2 male Blacks, 5’5 to 6’0, 200 lbs., in their 20’s.

Attempt Grand Theft Auto:

On June 29 at 12:20 pm, officers responded to the 5500 block of Kinston Avenue regarding a stolen vehicle investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she parked and locked her 1996 Honda on June 27th at 7:00 pm. When she returned the next day at 12:15 pm, she noticed her ignition had been tampered with and appeared to have been punched.

Assault:

On June 29 at 4:20 pm, a victim came to the police department to report that she had been assaulted last night. The victim said she was in the 10400 block of Culver Boulevard when she was confronted by 2 suspects in gas station parking lot. The victim said she exchanged words with both suspects. The suspects ran toward her and grabbed her and then knocked her to the ground. The suspects then fled the location.

Attempt Street Robbery:

On July 1 at 2:20 pm, officers responded to the 4400 block of Overland Avenue regarding an attempt robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he was using his cell phone when she was approached by a suspect and asked “give me your cell phone”, the victim turned around and the suspect was pointing a handgun at her. The suspect then got scared for unknown reason and fled the location. The suspect was described as a male Black, 18-20 years, thin build, and medium to dark complexion.
