April 17 through 24
Stolen Vehicle:
On April 17 at 11:35 am officers responded to the 6300 block of Green Valley Circle regarding a stolen vehicle investigation. The officers met with the victim who them the following; she parked and locked her 1994 Honda on April 16 at 10:30 pm. When she returned at 8:15 am her vehicle was missing.
Commercial Robbery:
On April 17 at 6:20 pm officers responded to the 6200 block of Bristol Parkway regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the reporting party and victim who told them the following; he was working at the cash register when he was approached by the suspect who was in line to pay for a few items. The suspect then produced a handgun and demanded the money from the cash drawer. The victim gave the money and fled the location. The suspect was described as a male Black, 6’0, muscular build, 30-40 years of age and wearing a baseball hat.
Car Burglary:
On April 19 at 5:40 pm a victim called the police department to report her car was burglarized. The victim said she parked and locked her 2012 Dodge in the 6000 block of Sepulveda Boulevard at 3 pm. When she returned at 5 pm she discovered her property missing.
Assault:
On April 20 at 12:45 pm officers responded to the 5600 block of Sawtelle Boulevard regarding a battery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he was attempting to collect rent from a tenant and an argument ensured and the suspect pushed the victim and he fell to the ground. The suspect then fled the location.
Commercial Burglary:
On April 21 at 12:30 am officers responded to the 9500 block of Culver Boulevard regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the reporting party who told them the following; she was doing some work in her office and when she was done she locked and secured the office. When she returned to her office she discovered the safe was missing.
