The Pacific Art Guild will meet Wednesday, April at 7 p.m. at the Community Room, Westchester Civic Center, 7166 W. Manchester Avenue., Westchester. Guests are welcome.
The guest demonstrator for April will be Chuck Kovacic, who obtained a BFA in graphic design from the Cleveland Institute of Art, with a minor in painting. Upon leaving the agency profession, Kovacic relocated to Southern California where he used his artistic skills as a restoration expert.
Only recently Kovacic returned to painting. Rendered in the traditional "plein-air" style of the Impressionists, his painting investigates a diversity of subject matter. He will demonstrate techniques for a plein air landscape, using water-based oils on canvas.
