The filing deadline arrived Tuesday and the four candidates who had announced they would run for two available City Council seats turned in their papers.
Incumbent Scott Malsin will seek a second term
as he runs against Jeff Cooper, Meghan Sahli-Wells and Robert Zirgulis.
One seat becomes available because Gary Silbiger is term-limited.
The candidates are confirmed for a debate on January 27 at 6:30 at Marycrest Manor – an event of the Culver Crest Neighborhood Association.
The election is April 13.
Cooper made an unsuccessful run for a City Council seat two years ago. Zurgulis, a realtor and substitute teacher, ran in the recent School Board race but did not win.
