The STAR ECO Station, an internationally award-winning non-profit environmental education and exotic wildlife rescue center, saw its animal population grow once again on December 8 when it rescued 75 chameleons that had recently been confiscated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
The ECO Station continues to rescue wildlife that no one else will, holding to the ideal that every life is worthy of dedication, effort and love. The ECO Station will be rescuing more soon, and the original group has already grown with the birth of several chameleon babies.
The chameleons are made up of two different species: Jacksons, the males of which have three horns on their faces; and Helmeted, who have a small veil on their head that looks something like a helmet.
