The Culver-Palms Family YMCA celebrated the kickoff of its Annual Support Campaign last month at Culver Events with a donation of $7,500 from the Culver City Exchange Club.
Exchange Cl ub President Elect Mike Snell, along with former Exchange Club President Jeff Cooper presented the check which, along with donations secured by YMCA volunteers, will go toward keeping program costs down as well as provide financial assistance for members unable to afford full payment for programs.
This year’s goal has been set at $225,000, and will run through mid-December.
The Culver-Palms YMCA currently has 2,500 facility members and approximately 2,500 program members, and with the help of a core group of dedicated volunteers the Annual Support Campaign reaches out to the community. For more information visit www.ymcala.org/cp.
Donations can be made online or in person at the Culver-Palms Family YMCA, located at 4500 Sepulveda Blvd., Culver City. Call (310) 390-3604 for information regarding branch programs, membership, and volunteer opportunities.
