The New Westfield Culver City To Open Friday

The new Westfield Culver City will open to the public Friday following a ceremonial ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday at 3 p.m.

There has been a $180 million revitalization of the mall which had been named Fox Hills Mall.

Among the dignitaries today will be California State Senator Curren Price and Culver City Mayor Andrew Weissman.

A highlight of the renovation is a new dining terrace.

The new Westfield Culver City!Taste & Tunes” showcases the new dining options available October 12 to 18.

. Activities will include the KCRW Digital Music Lounge, featuring virtual live sessions from inside the KCRW studios, and entertainment in the new Dining Terrace during lunch and happy hour.

On Wednesday, October 14 Radio Disney will host an “After School Break” concert and Westfield Culver City will kick off their WFamily “Kids Eat Free” promotion, which is offered every Wednesday at participating retailers.

On Saturday, October 17 Mayer Hawthorne will be playing a concert live at 3 p.m, presented by KCRW.

New dining destinations at Westfield Culver City include BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, Manna Korean BBQ, and a Café-Style Dining Terrace with 14 fresh food spots. Additional restaurants and cafes are opening soon, such as Yen Sushi & Karaoke and Crème de la Crepe.

During Tastes & Tunes, customers who visit the Dining Terrace will receive a free scratcher card. Scratcher prizes include free drinks and food from the new dining destinations at Westfield Culver City.

Shoppers are also encouraged to stop by the Westfield Gift Stop and enter for a chance to win a 50” Insignia plasma HDTV, a retail value of $1,199.99 (courtesy of Best Buy).
