Former Culver City Mayor and Councilman Albert Vera has announced Patricia G. Siever as his endorsement for the Culver City School Board and encourages all to support her on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3.
“In these challenging economic times the Culver City School District needs a board member with proven expertise and experience dealing with public school budget - finance and educational curriculum programs,” Vera said.
.”I have worked with her as a member of the Brotman Medical Center Board of Governors. She is knowledgeable and an effective board member. Culver City would be very fortunate to have an educator with local, regional and statewide educational experience on the Board of Education.
“She will fight to maintain excellence in our school programs. She brings to Culver City a fresh voice and innovative ideas. Culver City and its students will be well served by her election.”
The public will have the opportunity to attend a “Meet, Greet, Relax and Share Ideas” event on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 at the Carlson Park Picnic Shelter. Refreshments will be served.
Professor Siever is eager to hear from the public on your ideas on our Culver City Schools. All Culver City residents are welcome to attend. Carlson Park is located at the intersection of Braddock Drive and Motor Avenue.
