In its opening week of Ocean league play the Culver City High baseball team defeated Beverly Hills twice, 15-4 and 3-1. Celebrating its 55th year, Culver City Little League held its Opening Day Ceremonies this past Saturday. Since 1957, Culver City Little League has been an anchor of the Culver City community as the only Little League-sanctioned program for boys and girls in Culver City and neighboring communities. However, the Centaurs’ season ended Tuesday in a semi-final 2-1 loss to Woodbridge High of Anaheim.
