Last weekend in the CIF Division 2 finals Morgan Maddox moved to the top of the list in the girls 400 meters and Duaine Mayrant is the number one 400-meter runner in the boys' division. With the baseball team leading the way, the Culver City high school spring athletic teams are trying to fight through the Bay League season. Facing teams like Redondo Union, Mira Costa, Santa Monica and Palos Verdes every week can be a daunting task. The baseball team is the beacon light for the spring teams.
