    LA Opera had their opening night of the 2024-25 season presenting the opera Madame Butterfly by Puccini at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.     The Opera Buffs Inc., celebrating their 41st season supporting young, emerging opera singers in Southern California, held their opening season recital and party at MiMoDa Studio.
