    On Thursday, at approximately 11am, Culver City High School staff and the Culver City Police Department became aware of a social media post depicting a Culver City High School student in possession of a firearm on school property. The Culver City Police Department immediately responded to the high school and located the weapon, which was determined to be a BB gun.     Culver City High track and field was represented well at the CIF Southern Section Divisional Finals last Saturday at El Camino College in Torrance. Centaur student-athletes combined to earn one gold, two silvers and one bronze in the sprinting events. The Culver girls finished 9th out of 36 Division 2 schools in the team totals while the boys placed 13th out of 45 Division 2 schools.
