Saturday night at 10 pm, CCPD Officers were in the area of the 11400 block of Jefferson Blvd, when they were flagged down regarding a subject who was down on the ground in the rear alley. The officers located the subject who was unconscious and not breathing. The officers administered a dose of Narcan and summoned CCFD. The City Council unanimously agreed to keep the current penalty rate structure for nonpayment of the City's business tax. Businesses with less than $200,000 in annual gross receipts are exempt from Culver City's business license tax, which was updated by voters in 2022 with Measure BL.
