    Police are hunting for a suspect in the November 16 attack at Westfield Culver City. The alleged assault and subsequent robbery happened at 12:20 pm when a 90-year- old male who was seated in the food court of the shopping center had his gold chains ripped from his neck and was thrown to the ground. While the victim was on the ground the suspect took his wallet and fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was subsequently taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.     Center Theatre Group will hold a memorial in honor of its Founding Artistic Director, Gordon Davidson, on Monday, January 9, 2017, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Ahmanson Theatre.     Joe Resnick, a correspondent who covered Los Angeles sports for The Associated Press for more than three decades, died Sunday after a six-month struggle with cancer. He was 62.
