    The Culver City high school boys' varsity football team lost their Division 4 CIF Southern Section second round playoff game 48-28 to Apple Valley at Apple Valley last Friday night. The Centaurs finished their season with a record of 8-4 after playing in a tough Bay league that saw five teams make it to the playoffs.     Following a public hearing, the City Council approved for a mixed-use residential and commercial development project in the Fox Hills neighborhood to move forward.
