The Council’s vote was 4-1 in favor of the smoking ban. The sole dissent came from Jeff Cooper who thought the o...

The opening words from Culver High head football Jahmal Wright aptly describing his team's 42-10 loss at Lawndale High to begin the 2014 Ocean League season last Friday night, October 10, cut to the chase. He continued: "In the first half I thought that we were able to keep the game close with some good defensive plays. Our offense had that one drive down the field to get a field goal.
