    Dead Bird Tests Positive A dead bird collected in Culver City has tested positive for West Nile Virus (WNV). The Los Angeles County West Vector & Vector-Borne Disease Control District alerted the media and requested the city make this information known to its residents through their normal communications process so people walking or sitting outside at dawn or dusk will take the appropriate precautions to protect themselves from being bitten by infected mosquitoes.
