Two young men were still at large this week after robbing the Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies store and its employees at 5299 S. Sepulveda Boulevard, making off with a reported $3,000 and pistol-whipping the store’s security guard. The robbery occurred shortly before the store’s 8 p.m. Sunday closing time. The security guard, who was not identified, was treated at Brotman Medical Center for head pains and then released. He is expected to fully recover, a hospital spokesperson said. It will utilize a communications service that allows for sending important valuable community information directly to residents using the latest technology. Seismologists say a mild earthquake widely felt throughout Southern California Wednesday was centered near Culver City in the Kentwood area of Westchester. The magnitude-3.7 quake struck at 3:18 a.m. The epicenter was two miles east-southeast of Marina del Rey Near Kentwood Elementary School.
