    New Flyer has announced the delivery of the first dedicated Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) public transit buses using the new Xcelsior Platform, to Culver City Bus.     Two weeks ago a Culver City Middle School student brought an unloaded handgun to school to show off and intimidate his fellow students.     West Los Angeles College has received a large grant from the National Science Foundation to assist academically talented, low income students achieve degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Twenty scholarships will be awarded each year throughout the grant period. Awards can be as high as $2,700 per semester or $5,400 per academic year.
