    A pedestrian was killed last week after he was struck by a vehicle in Palms. The crash occurred about 10:20 p.m. on April 28, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The driver of a Kia Soul was travelling east on Palms Boulevard and Vinton Avenue when it collided with a man who was crossing the street, police said.
