    On Thursday at approximately 2am Culver City Police Officers responded to a report of a man with a gun and shots fired in the 11100 block of Washington Boulevard. When officers arrived, they met with the victim who was uninjured and witnesses who provided information about the identity of the suspect and his possible location.     On Tuesday the Culver City Police Department received numerous calls from residents reporting a phone scam. In each case, the suspect would identify himself as Culver City Police Sergeant Wallace, or Sergeant Wallace from another agency. Each call was similar with the suspect stating that a subject in the household had a warrant.     The Culver City Council has approved the design of a logo for the Culver City Centennial. The logo was presented by Jim Clarke, president of the Culver City Centennial Celebration Committee, a non-profit organization created to help plan and coordinate activities during the City's Centennial year beginning September 20, 2016 and running through September 20, 2017, the official date of incorporation.
