    The parking structure for the Compton Courthouse, located at 222 S. Acacia Ave., Compton, is temporarily closed due to a power outage. The Compton Courthouse, located at 200 W. Compton Blvd., Compton, remains open for business. As soon as the power is restored, the parking structure will re-open.     .Five years ago, we were able to stop Automatic License Plate Readers (ALPR) from being installed in Culver City. Now, CCPD is campaigning to deploy them again. CCPD is giving a presentation this Thursday at 6:30 pm. Let's remind them that Culver City is still a SANCTUARY CITY and allowing ALRPs in Culver City would be a violation of this policy.
