    On Sunday the Angeles County Department of Public Health has confirmed that a Culver City resident has died from the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individual who died was older than 65 with underlying health conditions. Neither the gender nor name of the deceased were revealed. Because there are positive cases across the entire County, the public is advised they should not think one location is safer than the other.     Rides on Culver CityBus will be free starting Thursday, March 19, 2020 until further notice. Culver CityBus is announcing that it will temporarily suspend fare collection for riders. Culver CityBus is also requesting that all passengers board using the rear door in order to limit interactions between passengers and bus operators.
