    West Los Angeles College will host a seminar on hydraulic fracturing and the democratic process entitled “Fracking: The LA Story” Saturday, March 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium.   • Library Plans Fundraiser

    The Culver City Friends of the Library are developing plans for some upcoming renovations to the Culver City Julian Dixon library. This “face lift” should be a great way to celebrate the upcoming library centennial, in 2015. While funds are available for much of the planned furniture purchases, they will be doing some fund raising to make up the shortfall.
