Culver City High’s bid for a CIF championship in girl’s basketball ended Saturday in a 47-39 loss to Murrieta Valley at the Anaheim Arena. Culver did receive an invitation to the state playoffs. But because of the CIF title game defeat the Centaurs were given a road game in the first round at Granada Hills of the LA City section.
