    Culver City Police Department responded to a call at a home in the 3900 block of Van Buren Place Saturday night. The resident, a woman, told officers her son was under the influence of drugs and was destroying furniture in the home. The suspect refused to cooperate with the officers and had to forcible remove him from the premises. The man was mumbling incoherently and kicked at the officers as they handcuffed him, but stopped fighting after he was handcuffed and appeared pale.     Traffic was snarled Thursday afternoon after 47-year-old Karen Roc of Culver City was crossing Washington Boulevard and was struck and injured by a Culver City K-9 police car. The police cruiser was driven by a yet unidentified 42-year-old officer and was heading eastbound on Washington approaching Prospect Avenue when it struck the woman as she crossed Washington at 3:17 p.m. She was reportedly on her way to pick up her daughter at school.
