Culver City Police Department responded to a call at a home in the 3900 block of Van Buren Place Saturday night. The resident, a woman, told officers her son was under the influence of drugs and was destroying furniture in the home. Traffic was snarled Thursday afternoon after 47-year-old Karen Roc of Culver City was crossing Washington Boulevard and was struck and injured by a Culver City K-9 police car.
