    Simon Johnson stood tall and confidently spelled the word P-I-Z-Z-E-R-I-A to take home the Sixth Annual Culver City Unified School District Spelling Bee title on Monday night at Robert Frost Auditorium.   • Student Hit by Car at Farragut Elementary School

    An unidentified male student from Farragut Elementary School was struck and injured by a passing car as the student ran into the path of the moving vehicle. The student suffered minor injuries including a broken leg. The vehicle was not speeding nor was the driver cited.
