The Metropolitan Transit Authority has entered into a contract with All American Asphalt Company for improving the Culver City Expo Station Parking Lot which has deteriorated into a muddy mess since the station opened last June. The cost of the resurfacing project is estimated at $316,467. On January 28 at approximately 9:16 am a Culver City Police Officer was involved in an officer involved shooting in the 3800 block of Sawtelle Boulevard. The incident occurred while officers were conducting a high-risk traffic stop on a vehicle wanted in conjunction with a felony. For January 21through 28 Hit and Run Traffic Collision: On January 16 at 7:50 pm officers responded to the area of Overland Avenue and Ranch Road regarding a hit and run traffic collision. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he was driving northbound on Overland Avenue at Ranch Road when he was rear ended by an Acura.
