    December 24th through the 31st. Residential Burglary: On December 24 at 9:30 pm, officers responded to the 4300 block of Sawtelle Boulevard regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he said he left his residence in the morning and his son left around 1:30 pm. When he returned at 9:30 pm discovered his residence had been ransacked and his property missing. The victim believes his son may have left the rear doors unlocked.     Homeless counts are mandated every two years by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for all communities that receive federal funds for homeless programs. Culver City needs volunteers to conduct a count which allows the city to more accurately track the changes in homelessness and evaluate the success of local efforts. In addition, this information is used to help advocate, plan for and secure resources to assist people to regain self-sufficiency.     The Clippers won all 16 of their games in December, putting together the longest winning streak of any NBA team in three years. It reached 17 with a win over Utah Sunday night at Staples Center.
