Since the beginning of time we have gone over hurdles and hurdles of different diseases. Today, many of those hurdles have already been jumped. Two of these hurdles were Measles and HIV/AIDS. Today I interviewed Dr. Katz and his wife Dr. Wilfert. Summers in LA can get quite hot. Especially with asphalt that traps and contains heat, its not that pleasant. And at Lin Howe, and with the Culver Studios help, they realized this problem. With enough funding, Lin Howe transformed their asphalt patch into a beautiful butterfly garden. On April 29 Culver Studios had its first spring carnival. It was open to the public for a $5 admission fee. All profits from ticket sales went to the Culver City Backpacks For Kids Program, which provides children and their families with a backpack of food to eat over the weekend. The carnival was amazing. They had a rock climbing wall, a mechanical bull, and so much more. The Adopt And Shop brought their ‘ CattyWagon’ with cats and dogs needing a home.
