    When you look at the high school girls' basketball teams in the Bay league you realize why the league is one of the most competitive in the CIF Southern Section. Culver City, Mira Costa, Redondo Union, Santa Monica and Peninsula all have winning records. At press time the combined records for the six teams were 67-41.
